Review: The Allergen-Free Holiday Cookbook

Yesterday, I posted a round-up of allergen-free holiday cocktail party recipes.  When you're done with cocktails and are looking for some ideas for your holiday feast, try Colette Martin's new eBook, "The Allergen-Free Holiday Cookbook."

Colette writes the blog Learning to Eat Allergy Free, where she shares information and solutions for families with multiple food allergies.  In her new book/pamphlet, she has compiled ten of her favorite holiday recipes, from dinner, to side dishes, to desserts.  Planning to have turkey?  You might like to try Colette's Breadless Stuffing, made with rice, ground pork and turkey, and apples.

How about some side dishes?  Colette offers Smashed Cauliflower, Dairy-Free Mashed Potatoes, Sweet Potatoes with maple syrup, and Lemon Pepper Broccoli.  Round out the table with Cranberry Bread made with alternative flours and Cranberry Sauce with agave nectar.  Ready for dessert?  Try Eggless Chocolate Mousse or Apple Raisin Pie.

Colette's recipes are simple and easy to follow, and are based on whole, nutritious foods.  There are no photos except for those on the cover.  The book itself is six pages.

The Allergen Free Holiday Cookbook is just 99 cents at Smashwords.
