Welcome to the very first edition of the Paleo Party!
This link party is meant for sharing your favorite Paleo recipes. For those not familiar with the Paleo eating plan, this healing diet eliminates all grains, dairy, sugar and legumes. Following this diet can allow leaky gut to heal, reduce inflammation, and reverse autoimmune disorders. Even if you don't consider yourself a Paleo person, your allergy-free recipes may very well fit the plan!
Please share your recipes that are free of ALL of the foods listed here. It's not Paleo if it contains even one of the "Do Not Include" foods on the list. One important point to remember -- your recipe must be not only gluten-free but grain-free as well.
Gluten-free flour is not Paleo.
This party will run every Friday morning at 6:00 am EST. Please share as many recipes as you like each week, as well as your posts about your experience with the Paleo lifestyle.

THESE FOODS ARE PALEO:
Meats, Fish, Fruits, Avocado,
Vegetables, Seeds, Nuts (except peanuts),
Raw Honey, Maple Syrup, Coconut Flour, Almond Flour,
Tapioca Starch, Eggs, Coconut Oils & Coconut Milk, and certain oils.
THESE FOODS ARE NOT PALEO:
Wheat, Barley, Rye, Corn,
Rice, Oats, Soy, White Potatoes,
Dairy, Yogurt, Sugar, Agave, Splenda,
Corn Oil, Soy Oil, Canola Oil, Peanuts, Beans, Alcohol
There are certainly grey areas in the Paleo plan. For example, sugar is frowned upon, but high-quality dark chocolate in small amounts is allowed. Use your best judgement and err on the side of healthiness :) We're all here to get inspiration to be healthier and happier!
